The saddle is covered with a high-end imitation leather. The advantage of this smooth finish is that it is completely waterproof, unlike others with padding and seams.
FYI, genuine leather is not suitable for scooter saddles because it is too exposed to rain and sun. It would need to be frequently treated with waxing which is not ideal for a saddle (risk of staining clothes). It is for this reason that we have chosen a quality imitation leather.
